pep·lum /ˈpepləm/
Noun
a short flared, gathered or pleated strip of fabric attached at the waist of a woman's jacket, dress or blouse;
(in ancient Greece) a woman's loose outer tunic or shawl
It was first introduced by Dior in 1947. to celebrate femininity. Nowadays peplum tops, dresses and skirts are huge throughout the fashion
world. They are a very feminine silhouette and can be a great benefit to almost every body shape like apple, pear, hourglass, rectangle etc.
It's magical for straight shaped women cause it will give the illusion of sexy hips. I'm loving the femininity that adds to any outfit. Confused what to pair with this top? No worries! Just remember to keep the rest of your outfit streamlined. And yes, this is my first peplum top and it's from Persunmall. For some reason it's quite hard to find the one that fits you perfectly. A special thanks to my brother's photography and editing skills!
