Like I told you yesterday, today I'll be showing you pictures of delicious turkish food.
Turkish food is regarded as one of the world's great cuisines. Despite the influence of western food and even fast food, Turkey preserves her culinary heritage.
We both ordered tomato soup wtih this tasty bread and İskender kebab.
İskender (or Bursa) kebap is named for the chef who created the dish and the city of Bursa where he created it. Wide slices of lamb served with tomato sauce, rice and
yogurt over pieces of pita bread. Yummy ... Lamb has a strong flavour so yogurt dip and rice with strong flavours was really needed. And yogurt has very strong sour taste.
After dinner we went to this shop to buy some turkish sweets.
You can get here halva, akide, fresh coffee, lokum ( a gelled sweet often mixed with hazelnuts or pistachios) and so many other things. This shop smells like heaven! So many delicious sweets in one place.
Hope you enjoyed.
Ahhh, sve izgleda tako ukusno :)
