The skin on the face is more delicate than skin on other parts of the body it requires special attention when it comes to skincare. Because of this, it is important to use scrubs marked for use on the face in facial care.
You don't necessarily need a brush, and you shouldn't be using one if you have sensitive skin.
I using this scrub from DM. It's really gentle but at the same time do the job. This is 3 in 1. It cleanse your face , it's a pilling and the mask. I also use Nivea and it is great.
How to exfoliate your face:
before you begin get your hair off your face with a clip or headband. Wash your hands thoroughly before you cleanse your face, or you will be working dirt into facial skin (you come into contact with germs, dirt, oils and other substances during the day).
When searching for the perfect facial cleanser, take into account your skin type.

Sensitive skin requires fragrance-free cleansers that are specially formulated to be gentle. Those with acne-prone skin should also use a gentle cleanser so they not irritate the skin further.
Start by splashing water on your face and neck. Squeeze a dime-sized amount of cleanser (should be enough to clean your face well) on to your fingertips .
Than apply the cleanser with your fingertips or with a soft brush, using gentle circular massaging strokes. If you use brush, make sure that is clean and soft. Do not scrub too much. Too much scrubbing will stretch skin and irritate it, especially the delicate skin around the eyes.
Finish by splashing your face two to three times with cool water (not freezing cold, you don't want to shock your face or anything too hot will shock the skin and could even burst capillaries) and then pat your skin with a clean, soft towel. Pat your face, don't rub it. Also use a clean towel so that you're not putting bacteria or dirt back onto your newly cleaned face.

Exfoliating the face will keep your skin clear and healthy looking, leaving behind a layer of younger, healthier skin. Exfoliating removes dead skin. Exfoliating will help with acne and other facial problems. Exfoliating speeds up the shedding process of the skin. Your complexion will glow and look brighter. Toxins will be removed from your skin. Scrubs can be too harsh for many people, but there are gentler versions available. The best way to test a scrub without making a big mistake it is to rub a small sample of the scrub on the inside of your wrist. The skin on this part of the body tends to be delicate, so if the face scrub will irritate your face, it will irritate your wrist. Be sure to scrub, wait a few minutes, and rinse with water to see if any signs of irritation such as itching or welts arise.

Extra step: use easy toner.
Next: moisturize-always follow exfoliation with a moisturizer suited for your skin type to help soothe newly exposed skin and replenish it with vital nutrients.
I am using Dove at the moment but my all time favourite cream is Garnier Essential Care with Burdock Root Extract.
- Exfoliation may leave your skin vulnerable to UV rays, so using a sunscreen is a must
- Never use a body scrub on your face. It can irritate and scratch delicate skin.
- Always avoid the delicate eye area where skin is thin and sensitive.
- Avoid exfoliating if your skin is sunburned or has scratches or wounds.
- You don’t want to exfoliate every day. Once or twice a week is just perfect for maintaining healthy, glowing skin. More than that can cause oiliness, dryness or breakouts as your skin compensates for the “lost” moisture.
